Deputy Controls Director

About the role

The Deputy Controls Director will support the Project Controls Director in governing and implementing project controls policies, standards and procedures for a major mixed‑use infrastructure programme in Riyadh. The role ensures consistent reporting, data integrity and performance oversight across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and train Project Management Consultants (PMCs) on programme policies, processes and PMIS applications such as Aconex, Unifier and P6.
• Maintain and update the Project Controls governance structure, RACI matrices and reporting governance documents.
• Manage the PMIS‑driven business intelligence platform, creating dashboards and consolidating data for weekly, monthly and executive reports.
• Track and monitor PMC performance against KPIs, produce monthly performance reports and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, Work Breakdown Structure and Cost Breakdown Structure, ensuring alignment with SAP and CBS.
• Conduct compliance audits, stage‑gate reviews and risk reporting, escalating key issues to executive management.
• Develop and implement Value Engineering Management plans and standardised cost structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, planning or MIS.
• Minimum 12 years of post‑graduation experience in project controls for large civil and infrastructure projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, PSP, MRICS or equivalent.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
