Design Engineer – Formwork & Scaffolding

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to develop innovative, safe and cost‑effective formwork and scaffolding solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. The role blends engineering design, technical coordination and commercial awareness from the tender stage through to project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, tender drawings and material lists for formwork and scaffolding systems in line with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project and sales teams to ensure client requirements are met and designs are approved before execution.
• Review technical project requirements to deliver economical designs while complying with safety standards and code specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction and attend client/consultant meetings to obtain design approvals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in formwork and scaffolding system design, including structural calculations.
• Proven ability to work flexible hours and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional attitude and adherence to company regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with SAP 2000, ETABS and RSTAB.
• Experience using Tipo’s and Idea Statics.
• Strong AutoCAD 2D/3D modelling skills.
