Design Manager - Landscape Architecture

About the role

Egis Group is hiring a Design Manager for Landscape Architecture in Riyadh. The role leads day-to-day management and coordination of landscape and public-realm design from early-stage concept through detailed and IFC delivery, ensuring design excellence, commercial control and full interdisciplinary integration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver projects within approved time, fee and quality parameters, monitoring fee utilisation and scope changes and initiating change control.
• Mentor a multi-disciplinary team (Landscape, Irrigation, BIM, Visualisation, CAD, Environmental) and lead QA/QC and peer review at each design gateway.
• Represent the Landscape discipline in client and consultant meetings, contribute to proposals and maintain minutes, design-change logs, coordination trackers and risk registers.
• Review landscape deliverables, tender and IFC documentation, and ensure compliance with RCRC, MOMRA, SBC and other authority standards.
• Lead BIM integration with Revit LA / Civil 3D / Navisworks, coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP and Infrastructure teams, and work with QS and Spec Writer on specifications, BOQs and cost schedules.
• Contribute to value engineering, tender evaluation and site support, and champion digital design, visualisation and sustainable materials.
• Report weekly to the Head of Department on schedules, deliverables and resources, and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognised university (required).
• Professional accreditation or eligibility (CMLI, ASLA or equivalent) preferred.
• At least 15 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a design-management capacity within the GCC.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale public-realm projects and fluency in English (Arabic where applicable).

Required skills

• Revit LA, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Project and BIM 360.
• Understanding of landscape design principles, construction techniques and regional authority codes.
• Budget management and ability to deliver under pressure.
