DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools that support the software development lifecycle. The role works closely with development, quality control, and IT operations teams to streamline deployments, ensure reliability, and improve scalability in both cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure to guarantee high availability and performance.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Automate system configurations, deployments and scaling with configuration‑management tools like Ansible.
• Maintain and improve system security, compliance and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise applications for performance, scalability and resilience.
• Conduct performance testing, tuning and capacity planning.
• Document processes, procedures and environments to ensure operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation or related roles.
• Knowledge of applications development standards, system analysis, design and architecture.
• Experience working in joint application development environments.
