Director - Distribution

About the role

The Director – Distribution will shape and lead Qiddiya DMO’s distribution strategy across domestic and international sales channels. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for driving channel expansion, revenue growth and commercial optimisation of Qiddiya’s tourism products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a long‑term distribution architecture aligned with visitation and revenue targets.
• Oversee the performance of the distribution ecosystem, including OTAs, GDS platforms, travel trade partners, corporate travel, DMCs, wholesalers and direct booking channels.
• Identify and negotiate new distribution partnerships, technology solutions and market opportunities to increase reach and profitability.
• Lead a team of distribution professionals and collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Technology, Operations and Finance to maximise demand generation and conversion.
• Manage relationships with global OTA, GDS, travel agency and corporate travel providers, establishing strategic agreements and joint business plans.
• Monitor channel performance, booking pace and KPIs, and work with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, inventory allocation and channel mix.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in distribution strategy within tourism, travel or related sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and market‑penetration goals.
• Experience managing multi‑channel distribution networks and negotiating large‑scale partnership agreements.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with revenue, marketing, technology and finance teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of OTA, GDS, travel trade and digital distribution platforms.
• Expertise in commercial negotiation and partnership development.
• Understanding of revenue management principles and channel performance analytics.
