Director of Food & Beverage & Culinary (Pre-Opening)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Director of Food & Beverage & Culinary to lead the pre‑opening of the Ritz‑Carlton Diriyah in Riyadh. As a member of the Executive Committee, you will shape a world‑class culinary destination that blends Saudi heritage with contemporary luxury.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the pre‑opening strategy, positioning and operational launch of all food‑and‑beverage and culinary outlets across the hotel.
• Provide strategic leadership for restaurants, bars, banqueting, catering and in‑room dining.
• Develop and execute a food‑and‑beverage vision aligned with Ritz‑Carlton brand standards, guest expectations and ownership objectives.
• Create distinctive dining and beverage experiences that set the property apart in the luxury market.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability through menu development, outlet positioning and operational excellence.
• Oversee departmental budgets, forecasting, procurement strategies, cost controls and overall financial performance.
• Establish service standards, recruit key talent, launch concepts and build the foundations for long‑term success.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a world‑class team.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in food‑and‑beverage operations within luxury hotels.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue and profit growth.
• Ability to create and implement innovative culinary concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with general manager, owners and hotel leadership.
