Director of FP&A

About the role

Foodics is seeking a commercially‑minded finance leader to head its FP&A function. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and senior team, the Director will transform financial planning into a strategic decision‑making engine for a fast‑growing SaaS‑fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budgeting, long‑range planning and rolling forecast processes, ensuring high‑quality, full‑year forecasts.
• Lead monthly performance reviews of revenue, ARR, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, OPEX, cash flow and headcount.
• Translate financial results into concise executive insights and actionable recommendations.
• Build driver‑based models with base, upside and downside scenarios to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations and People teams to challenge assumptions and improve resource allocation.
• Govern OPEX, headcount, CAPEX and strategic‑investment processes with clear ownership.
• Evaluate pricing, new products, geographic expansion, partnerships and M&A opportunities through rigorous business cases.
• Upgrade FP&A systems and automate reporting, leveraging AI tools such as Claude to reduce spreadsheet reliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in SaaS or fintech environments.
• Proven track record of building scalable, data‑driven FP&A functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.
