Director of HR - 5* Hotel

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead all HR functions for a luxury 5‑star hotel and its restaurant in Al Khobar. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, and foster a high‑performance culture aligned with the brand’s service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support overall business objectives.
• Advise senior leaders on organisational development, workforce planning and talent management.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for all levels, from entry positions to senior management.
• Design and manage performance management processes, including feedback and development plans.
• Oversee training programmes covering guest service, health & safety, anti‑harassment and professional development.
• Administer compensation and benefits, ensuring market competitiveness.
• Handle complex employee‑relations issues in line with Saudi employment law and hotel policies.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs and well‑being activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated success in GCC markets and familiarity with local labour regulations.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence senior management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust across all organisational levels.
