Director of Quality Assurance & Control (Construction)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control to lead its QA/QC function across a portfolio of construction, infrastructure, and landscape projects. The role involves shaping the quality strategy, ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Lead QA/QC teams across multiple project sites, establishing quality objectives, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Oversee inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality plans, method statements and ensure proper documentation throughout all project phases.
• Conduct internal and external audits, management reviews, compliance assessments and drive ISO 9001 certification activities.
• Investigate non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction Management or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive QA/QC experience in construction/infrastructure, with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing multi‑site operations.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi construction regulations, ISO 9001 and international quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead audits, certifications and drive continuous improvement across large organizations.
