Doorman – Luxury Hotel Frontline Role

About the role

As the first point of contact for guests at SLS The Red Sea, the Doorman ensures a warm and professional welcome, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. This role blends hospitality, safety, and service excellence to create memorable first and last impressions for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
• Open and close vehicle doors, providing a seamless arrival experience.
• Assist guests with luggage when required and coordinate closely with the Bell team.
• Collaborate with Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
• Arrange taxis and transportation for guests as needed.
• Support the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and guests at the hotel entrance.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area.
• Uphold a polished, professional appearance in line with SLS grooming standards.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills with a naturally welcoming attitude.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to assist guests with luggage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational requirements.
• Positive, professional, and team‑oriented with a strong commitment to guest service.
• Experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality is an advantage.
