EHS Engineer – Substation & Transmission Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EHS Engineer to lead environmental, health and safety activities on substation, transmission line and underground cabling projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves implementing and maintaining the EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and control EHS documentation for substation, transmission line and underground cabling works.
• Conduct HSE audits and lead incident investigations to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve the EHS Management System and emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate with SEC and ARAMCO authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
• Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on safety standards.

Required profile

• BE/BTech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 7‑10 years of experience in EHS management for power infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory) and IOSH certification (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with SEC approval processes and ARAMCO project environments.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation techniques and emergency procedures.
