EHS Officer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Officer to lead environmental, health and safety initiatives for oil & gas, substation, transmission line and underground cabling projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves implementing and maintaining the EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the EHS Management System across all project phases.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure adherence to Oil & Gas HSE documentation and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with ARAMCO and SEC for approvals and compliance reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on safety practices.

Required profile

• Graduate/Diploma (or equivalent 3‑year polytechnic) in any discipline.
• 5‑7 years of experience in EHS Management for oil & gas, substation, transmission line or underground cabling projects.
• NEBOSH IGC or IOSH certification (or both).
• Proven experience conducting HSE audits and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with ARAMCO or SEC approval processes is an advantage.
