Electrical Appliances Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Facilities Management Supervisor oversees daily operations of building services, ensuring that all equipment, systems and grounds are maintained safely, efficiently and in line with organisational standards. This role leads maintenance staff, coordinates vendors and guarantees that infrastructure supports business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping and security services.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety.
• Manage vendor performance for outsourced services and handle contract compliance.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and enforce health, safety and quality standards.
• Process work orders and service requests, ensuring timely closure and accurate record‑keeping.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, assets and compliance records.
• Support budget planning, control facility‑related expenses and implement cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in emergency response, crisis management and energy‑saving projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Proven experience in vendor management and contract handling.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
