Electrical Designer – Onsite in Dammam

About the role

The Electrical Designer will be based on‑site in Dammam, working full‑time for Satech. The role supports the design and coordination of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical drawings, layouts, single‑line diagrams, load calculations and panel schedules.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC and Saudi electrical codes.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers and project managers to integrate electrical solutions with other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Support value‑engineering studies, participate in design reviews and prepare documentation for tenders and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundation in power distribution, low‑ and medium‑voltage systems and protection schemes.
• Knowledge of power system analysis, load flow and short‑circuit studies.
• Proficiency with design software and CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with international and Saudi electrical standards (IEC, NEC, Saudi).
• Experience in consultancy or construction environments in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf is an advantage.
