Electrical Duty Engineer

About the role

This role plays an essential part in delivering refined service within our luxury environment. The Electrical Duty Engineer supports daily operations with precision and care, ensuring all electrical systems meet elevated standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Required profile

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or high‑end commercial environment.
• Valid electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (desirable).
• Additional trade qualifications such as plumbing or HVAC (desirable).
• Experience in project management and team leadership (desirable).
• First Aid certification (desirable).

Required skills

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Building Management Systems (BMS) operation and troubleshooting.
• AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Energy management and conservation techniques.
• Smart building technologies.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
