Electrical Engineer – Documentation (Saudi National)

About the role

The Documentation Department is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage all electrical engineering documents throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that drawings, calculations, specifications, and as‑built records are accurate, coordinated, and delivered on time in line with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain electrical engineering documentation, including drawings, calculations, specifications, material submittals, method statements, ITPs and technical reports.
• Coordinate documentation with MEP, civil, architectural, structural, ELV, HVAC, plumbing and other disciplines.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, design changes, RFIs, technical queries and site instructions to ensure proper traceability.
• Maintain document registers and control revision status for all electrical documents.
• Produce As‑Built, red‑line, equipment, cable, panel and load schedules for handover.
• Support preparation of BOQs, quantity take‑offs, procurement documents and technical comparison sheets.
• Review supplier and subcontractor submissions for compliance with project specifications.
• Compile operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, certificates and final handover documents.
• Ensure documentation complies with IEC, NFPA, NEC, SASO and client requirements.
