Electrical Engineer – LV/MV Systems for Copper Manufacturing

About the role

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is establishing a state‑of‑the‑art copper rod plant in Yanbu Industrial City. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design, install and maintain the plant’s low‑ and medium‑voltage power infrastructure, ensuring safe and reliable operation as we move toward commercial production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and maintain LV/MV electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, motor control centres and distribution panels.
• Support commissioning and startup of electrical equipment across the copper rod production line.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes and inspection schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on production equipment, drives and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and other relevant industrial standards.
• Coordinate with automation and instrumentation teams for PLC/SCADA integration.
• Maintain accurate as‑built drawings, single‑line diagrams and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in LV/MV power systems, motor drives (VFDs) and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of SEC regulations and IEC electrical standards.
