Electrical Engineer – Smart Metering & Energy Systems

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will lead technical presentations and discussions for our Smart Metering, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) and Submetering solutions. The role combines field support, after‑sales training, and test/verification activities to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations and lead discussions on AMI, BESS, EVCS and Submetering products and services.
• Provide on‑site and remote after‑sales support, including installation planning, configuration, programming and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute pilot projects, capture and analyse data, and produce detailed reports.
• Create and deliver training programs, including instructional materials and on‑site sessions.
• Design functional and parametric test plans, set up test platforms, and conduct testing under customer supervision.
• Compile test reports, obtain validation, and support product certification processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with smart grid technologies, metering communication systems, and energy storage solutions.
• Strong analytical skills for data capture, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication abilities for technical presentations and customer training.
