Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is a core member of the Operations & Maintenance team for the NGHC hydrogen production plant in Neom. You will ensure reliable electrical performance through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment across the plant.
• Maintain power substation gear, induction and synchronous motors, protective relays, switchgear starters, PF compensation capacitors, MCCs, UPS, VFDs, transformers, heating systems, lighting, and DC battery/charger systems.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns, conduct fault analysis, and restore equipment to minimize production loss.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance procedures and work scopes; document activities in SAP.
• Participate in minor and major shutdowns, providing hands‑on technical support.
• Support safety programs, housekeeping, and on‑call rotation as required.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with plant operators, maintenance staff, and technical support teams.
• Willingness to train new technicians and maintain site management systems (MOC, BPs, SWIMs, JSAs).
