Electrical Test & Inspection Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test & Inspection Manager to lead and supervise the complete test and inspection process for our projects in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role covers commissioning, contractual deliverables, and the preparation of JEG QSP documentation, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Directly report to the Divisional Authorising Engineer and support the Pre‑Construction, MEP and Estimating teams during tendering and hand‑over phases.
• Develop and implement the project electrical inspection strategy across all phases, from construction through to client hand‑over.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, client QA/QC teams and site MEP leads to define and enforce QA/QC requirements, codes, standards and local regulations.
• Oversee cable terminations, dead testing and live testing in line with BS7671, and manage LV SAP AP processes to ensure JEG SSOW compliance.
• Issue Limitations of Access and LV PTWs, control hold‑point releases, and maintain up‑to‑date electrical test reports in the document management system.
• Develop and manage non‑conformances, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure proper closure in collaboration with MEP leads.
• Provide daily liaison with clients, consultants and QA/QC discipline teams, and support method‑statement preparation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical testing, commissioning and QA/QC within large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 standards and LV SAP AP procedures.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in preparing and managing electrical inspection documentation and non‑conformance reports.
