Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our hotel maintenance team on Ummahat Island, supporting the St. Regis resort. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and electrical systems, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for wear or damage.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and record information for unfinished calls.
• Follow all company safety, security, and environmental policies.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in electrical or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and navigate stairs, ramps, or ladders.
• Commitment to safety training, certifications, and proper handling of flammable materials.
