Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Electrician to join the facilities team at The St. Regis Red Sea Resort. You will respond quickly to guest repair requests and ensure all electrical and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines visually; carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies.
• Report daily activities and issues to the next shift using approved communication standards.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and replace light bulbs and A/C filters.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, plumbing fixtures, pneumatic/electronic controls, and kitchen equipment.
• Program televisions, update air‑handler schedules and perform general housekeeping inventory duties.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler systems.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and finish work, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work on a shift schedule in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and uniform appearance.
