Electronics Technician – P‑4 SAKITS Pods

About the role

The Electronics Technician will provide operation and maintenance support for P‑4 SAKITS pods used in the Royal Saudi Air Force F15C/D ACMI program. Working under the Site Manager and alongside two Field Service Technicians, the role requires independent execution of technical tasks to ensure pod readiness for training and mission support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed logs of pod serial numbers, types, check‑in/out times and status.
• Record and analyse elapsed Time Meter readings to calculate monthly operational hours.
• Operate and maintain the P‑4 SAKITS Test Set in line with technical documentation.
• Perform O‑Level and I‑Level maintenance tests and replace Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) on pods.
• Load program files, conduct subsystem tests and load pre‑mission data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
• Operate graphics terminals during live exercises and support display and control operations.
• Provide technical assistance to RSAF aircrews for replay/debriefing and maintain mission tape records.
• Maintain mission event logs and interface directly with RSAF regarding sortie effectiveness.
• Comply with Cubic’s policies, code of conduct and health‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electronics maintenance and test equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate logging and record‑keeping.
• Effective communication with military personnel and internal teams.
