Encryption Operations & Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Encryption Operations & Support Engineer to manage day‑to‑day operational and technical support for our enterprise encryption and security infrastructure. The role ensures platform health, performs preventive maintenance, and resolves incidents efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily health checks and operational monitoring of encryption, KMS, and HSM platforms.
• Handle service requests and incidents, providing first‑level troubleshooting and escalating complex issues.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and vendor‑managed fixes.
• Track software licenses, subscriptions, assets, and support contracts.
• Maintain configuration records, inventories, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and service issues.
• Prepare operational and maintenance reports and support on‑call duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT operations, security operations, or technical support.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies, incident management, and change management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Dammam.
• One of the following certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation or CompTIA Security+.
