Engineering Change & Production Data Engineer

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an Engineering Change & Production Data Engineer to lead the implementation of engineering changes and ensure accurate production data across its manufacturing sites. The role supports new product introductions, optimizes system processes, and resolves production abnormalities to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of Engineering Change (EC) and Process Change Notice (PCN) in the factory.
• Enter, update, and verify production data in systems such as TDC, MES and SAP, ensuring traceability.
• Design, produce, and maintain product labels in compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in manufacturing systems, propose optimization solutions, and verify improvements.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by preparing engineering documentation for mass production.
• Rapidly resolve production abnormalities, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an engineering‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing production technology, process engineering, or production operations.
• Familiarity with engineering change management processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one production management system (e.g., MES, SAP).
