Engineering Standards Manager – Subject to Contract Award

About the role

The Engineering Standards Manager will lead a team of O&M subject‑matter experts to develop, implement and sustain world‑class operations and maintenance standards for Saudi government entities. This position reports to the client’s partner consultancy and works closely with the Enablement department to ensure consistent application across all contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare department operating procedures, defining organisation, roles, responsibilities and delivery processes.
• Develop the National O&M Manual, consolidating global best‑practice technical standards.
• Collaborate with the client’s partner consultancy to shape the O&M strategy.
• Support the Enablement department in rolling out standards across government entities.
• Provide systems‑engineering input for the National O&M Manual.
• Create standardized maintenance plans for long‑term asset sustainability.
• Design uniform operating procedures for all O&M activities.
• Review and refine procedures developed with the partner consultant.
• Establish processes to ensure contract standardisation across entity O&M contracts.

Required profile

• Engineering consultancy background with extensive O&M or FM experience.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience on national or international initiatives.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role within a reputable organisation.
• Proven experience working in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
