Engineering Technical Trainer

About the role

The Engineering Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training across a wide range of engineering and technical disciplines. This role develops comprehensive training materials and ensures trainees acquire the necessary drafting and design skills to meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and hands‑on training in various engineering fields.
• Develop lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, and training materials.
• Provide hands‑on instruction on engineering drawings, drafting techniques, and technical applications.
• Demonstrate the use of relevant engineering software, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct practical and theoretical assessments to evaluate trainees’ technical skills.
• Monitor performance, give technical guidance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare progress and performance reports.
• Ensure training aligns with required technical standards and industry practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering training.
• Experience in multiple technical fields such as civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, road, structural, and digital mapping drafting.
• Familiarity with architectural models (maquettes) and digital cartography.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training abilities.

• Proficiency with engineering drafting and design software.
