Engineering Technician (Saudi Nationals)

About the role

KEO International Consultants, an AEP/PMCM firm recognised as one of the top international design firms and the number one in the Middle East in the 2024 WA100 survey, is hiring an Engineering Technician in Riyadh. The role covers inspection requests, review of shop drawings, quality monitoring and reporting of site deficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to inspection requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report works carried out by the contractor that do not comply with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders.
• Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual and QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress photos, and make them available for inspection when required.
• Prepare surveillance reports on work deficiencies and non-conformance reports (NCR) as events develop.
• Check coordination between discipline-related works and provide technical input to resolve on-site issues.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of work experience.
• Diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Saudi nationality.
