Enterprise Architect

About the role

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide technology architecture that aligns with business objectives and drives digital transformation. The role defines architectural standards, governance frameworks and technology roadmaps, and ensures scalable, secure and efficient IT solutions. It reports to the Enterprise Architecture Manager and works with business and IT stakeholders, and is based on site in Al Khobar.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Document current-state and target-state architecture across Business, Application, Data and Technology domains.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts such as diagrams, models, blueprints and technical documentation.
• Develop and manage technology roadmaps supporting business growth and digital transformation.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership during solution design and project implementation.
• Review proposed technologies and solutions, and conduct architecture reviews, impact assessments and gap analyses.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams and IT leadership, and identify opportunities to optimise, modernise and standardise systems.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security standards and organisational policies, and research emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or a related IT architecture role.
• Preferred certifications such as TOGAF, ZCEA or CITA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, strong documentation and communication skills, and fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, governance models and technology roadmaps.
• Experience with business, application, data and technology architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, infrastructure, integration technologies and information security principles.
