Enterprise Communications Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Communications Architect defines, designs and governs the enterprise communications architecture across data networks, transmission networks and satellite communication domains. The role provides architectural leadership so that scalable, secure and future-ready communication solutions align with enterprise business objectives and technology strategies. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise communications architecture frameworks, standards and reference designs.
• Define target-state architectures and strategic roadmaps for data, transmission and satellite communication platforms.
• Provide architecture governance and review solution designs against enterprise standards and best practices.
• Lead the evaluation, selection and adoption of communication technologies and architectural solutions.
• Ensure architectures support scalability, reliability, security and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations for complex initiatives.
• Assess current environments and identify modernization and optimization opportunities.
• Establish design principles, patterns and governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise communications architecture, network architecture or related fields.
• Extensive experience designing and governing enterprise-scale communication networks.
• Proven experience developing architecture standards, reference models and technology roadmaps.
• Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, networking or telecommunications preferred.
