Environmental Coordinator

About the role

The Environmental Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between Larsen & Toubro, Saudi Aramco and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to ensure all environmental requirements are met for multiple projects across Saudi Arabia. You will develop, implement and monitor environmental management plans, waste strategies and compliance audits.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and prepare the environmental aspect and impact register.
• Develop and audit Waste Management Plans and produce related reports.
• Prepare comprehensive Chemical Inventory reports and implement a HAZCOM program.
• Plan and conduct ISO 14001 internal audits and support external audit coordination.
• Execute site monitoring (noise, air, and stake) in line with Aramco’s monthly monitoring program.
• Process all Aramco and statutory environmental requirements, submit monthly deliverables and update project status in weekly meetings.
• Evaluate contractor environmental activities, conduct audits and investigate incidents, communicating lessons learned.
• Deliver training programs on environmental topics and lead promotional activities.
• Prepare annual environmental performance reports and advise bid teams on Aramco/SEC requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in environmental coordination or similar roles.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco and SEC environmental procedures.
• Ability to work onsite and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
