Environmental Health Safety Specialist

About the role

The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will lead the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) and compliance programme for our organisation in Al Khobar. You will manage the Integrated Management System, drive audit activities, and support ESG initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal and external audit programmes, track findings and CAPA.
• Maintain the Integrated Management System and audit records on SharePoint.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies, procedures and forms accordingly.
• Coordinate QHSE and compliance requirements with regional offices.
• Develop and deliver QHSE, compliance and refresher training sessions.
• Analyse QHSE data, KPIs and trends to recommend corrective actions.
• Support ESG and sustainability projects.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QHSE or compliance experience, preferably in equipment rental or a similar industry.
• Internal/Lead Auditor certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional QHSE projects and multiple responsibilities.
