Escalator Technician – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Escalator Technician to join a leading building operation and maintenance project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of escalators across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on escalator systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, including hydraulic components.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC controls related to escalator operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Document maintenance activities and report findings to the supervisory team.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in building maintenance or construction projects involving escalators.
• Ability to work on‑site in Saudi Arabia and adapt to shift or overtime requirements.
