Event Services Talent Coach – Banquet Supervisor

About the role

The Event Services Talent Coach (Banquet Supervisor) ensures seamless banquet operations at Marriott International in Riyadh. You will lead a team of service staff, maintain high standards of appearance and service, and guarantee guest satisfaction for all banquet events.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate banquet set‑up, ensuring cleanliness, proper furniture placement, and compliance with guest specifications.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting deficiencies promptly.
• Communicate with guests, other departments, and team members to meet special event requests.
• Document relevant information in departmental logbooks.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, and coaching of staff.
• Uphold company safety, security, and quality policies; report incidents and complete required certifications.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide courteous telephone etiquette.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a banquet or event‑service environment.
• No specific license or certification required.
