Evidence Generation Specialist – Saudi National

About the role

The Evidence Generation Specialist supports AbbVie’s Medical Affairs Evidence Generation function by delivering high‑quality, compliant studies and scientific publications. Reporting to the Evidence Generation Lead, the role ensures operational delivery of the affiliate evidence‑generation portfolio, from study planning through to dissemination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of approved evidence‑generation studies, developing detailed implementation plans with timelines, milestones and budgets.
• Manage CROs and vendors, overseeing selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract administration.
• Coordinate investigator engagement, site activation, study start‑up, and close‑out activities.
• Track recruitment, study progress, and budget risks, providing regular updates and escalating critical issues.
• Own publication planning and execution, managing medical writers, manuscript development and compliance approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research operations, evidence generation, or related roles (e.g., CRA, CRC, RWE Lead).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, timelines and vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using project and document tracking tools for study management.
