Executive Director – Construction & Development

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Director – Construction & Development to provide strategic leadership for large‑scale, high‑profile construction programmes. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, from concept through handover, ensuring delivery of iconic high‑rise towers, luxury hotels, mixed‑use complexes and mega‑scale developments.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and executive leadership for a portfolio of landmark construction projects.
• Lead planning, execution and delivery of high‑rise, hospitality, commercial and mixed‑use developments.
• Take overall responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, safety and client satisfaction.
• Oversee Project Directors, Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers and technical teams.
• Establish execution strategies, governance structures and delivery frameworks.
• Manage relationships with clients, investors, consultants, architects, contractors and government authorities.
• Review and approve budgets, master schedules, procurement plans and resource allocations.
• Drive construction excellence, coordinate civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.
• Oversee contract administration, commercial management, variations, claims and dispute resolution.
• Champion QA/QC, HSE and sustainability objectives.
• Support business development, tender evaluation and strategic client engagement.
• Mentor senior management and represent the company at executive forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 20 + years of experience in construction, including delivery of high‑rise towers, luxury hospitality and large‑scale mixed‑use projects.
• Proven track record of leading complex construction operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.
