Experienced English Teacher

About the role

Zameer Training FZE is seeking an experienced English teacher to deliver high‑quality ESL instruction to students in Riyadh. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the centre’s curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design weekly lesson plans that state objectives, procedures, techniques, and evaluation methods.
• Implement lesson plans using approved textbooks and audio/visual aids.
• Prepare and deliver extra‑curricular activities that support teaching objectives.
• Create, administer, and grade weekly and final tests to monitor student progress.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance, participation, and attendance.
• Compile weekly score tables covering speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss academic issues.
• Write weekly reports summarising duties and outcomes.
• Develop and contribute to an exam data bank and placement tests.
• Assist in the creation of teaching materials and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Citizenship of the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or Australia.
• Extensive experience teaching ESL.
• Preference for candidates holding TEFL, CELTA, or DELTA qualifications.
• Previous experience in the Gulf region is a plus.
• Teaching couples are highly sought.
