Expert Generative AI Engineer (n8n) – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a senior Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production AI applications for a Saudi organization. The role focuses on using n8n to integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise services while ensuring reliability, testability, and thorough documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize LLM‑based applications that follow approved use cases and architecture.
• Implement production‑grade n8n workflows that connect AI models to authenticated APIs, enterprise services, and approved data sources.
• Design robust error handling, including retries, timeouts, duplicate detection, and manual recovery procedures.
• Write supporting code and data transformations when n8n alone is insufficient.
• Set up prompt and configuration versioning, repeatable evaluation, output validation, and logging; collaborate with QA and DevOps to resolve issues.
• Review work of mid‑level engineers and deliver comprehensive source code, documentation, and knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software, data, or AI engineering with recent production Generative AI projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work with both Generative AI concepts and the n8n platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record delivering production‑ready LLM solutions beyond prototypes.

Required skills

• n8n workflow design, webhooks, API integration, authentication, error handling, and deployment.
• Strong Python programming (or comparable language) for integration code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and model/provider portability.
• Knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and document‑data integration.
• Understanding of Arabic‑language applications and compliance with regulated environments.
