Facility Technician

About the role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is looking for a dependable Facility Technician to join its Facility & Administration Department. Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, you will support the maintenance and operation of the company's facilities through daily upkeep, system monitoring, and coordination with contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily facility maintenance activities and follow up on work orders.
• Monitor building systems, sewage, drainage and related infrastructure, reporting any faults.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance with external contractors.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, utilities and service areas.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety, company standards and EHSS requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and service documentation.
• Support emergency maintenance needs and respond to shift work as required.
• Escalate major issues and request corrective actions when work quality is unsatisfactory.

Required profile

• High school diploma or relevant technical diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance systems, sewage and drainage.
• Ability to track maintenance requests and oversee contractor performance.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and simple report preparation.
• Familiarity with EHSS standards and safe work practices.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
