Field Service Engineer – Motors & Drives (Industrial Electrification)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer specialized in Motors & Drives and Industrial Electrification. The position starts in Abu Dhabi for three months before relocating to Dammam for a 2–3 year assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Select and integrate medium‑voltage motors and VFDs, including equipment for industrial drives in the 1+ MW range.
• Handle brownfield projects such as motor‑to‑motor or turbine‑to‑motor replacements and compressor/pump drive applications.
• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, single‑line diagrams, technical evaluations and conduct design reviews.
• Coordinate technical activities with customers and vendors and provide bid support.
• Support technical coordination with vendors and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required skills

• Medium Voltage (MV) Motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) selection and integration.
• Industrial drives in the 1+ MW power range, including MV/LV motors, switchgear, transformers, batteries, rectifiers and AC/DC systems.
• EPLAN and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
• Technical specifications, datasheets, single‑line diagrams (SLDs) and design‑review expertise.
