Field Service Representative – Conventional Maintenance (KSA)

About the role

The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides conventional maintenance support for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) equipment and associated tactical assets across designated sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working as the sole in‑country resource, the FSR ensures operational readiness of heavy vehicles, generators and material handling equipment under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy tactical wheeled vehicles (HEMTT family), trailers, battery support equipment and material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair power generation systems, including HDT DRASH generators and 5 kW HEMTT‑mounted generators.
• Execute scheduled semi‑annual and annual services, diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault isolation across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace components such as starters, alternators, fuel system parts, belts, filters and electrical assemblies.
• Document maintenance actions, update status reports and ensure compliance with OEM Technical Manuals and Technical Bulletins.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with supported units and work flexible hours to meet mission requirements.

Required profile

• Certified 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent military/commercial qualification.
• 8–15 years of experience maintaining tactical or commercial heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently in field or OCONUS environments.
• Prior experience with THAAD or similar defense systems is preferred.

Required skills

• Diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Powertrain systems (transmissions, differentials, transfer cases).
• Hydraulic and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
• Use of OEM Technical Manuals and standard maintenance procedures.
