Finance Director (Riyadh)

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Finance Director to lead financial operations for its integrated mining and refining business in Riyadh. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role is responsible for financial reporting, treasury, cost accounting and regulatory compliance across dore processing and bullion production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and Saudi regulations.
• Manage bullion inventory valuation, liquidity planning and hedging strategies to mitigate commodity and foreign‑exchange risks.
• Develop and maintain cost models for refining operations to track yield, recovery rates and production efficiency.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting for exploration, refining and corporate functions.
• Ensure timely filing of Zakat, VAT and other tax obligations in coordination with ZATCA.
• Maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets and comply with LBMA and anti‑money‑laundering standards.
• Monitor and report capital expenditure for exploration drilling and refinery projects against approved budgets.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team while meeting Saudization targets under Nitaqat regulations.
• Act as primary liaison for internal and external audit activities.
