Finance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead all financial activities for a manufacturing operation, partnering with production, procurement, supply chain and sales to drive profitability and efficiency. You will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, cost accounting, inventory control, cash flow management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Manage product costing, standard costing, variance analysis and monitor production, labor and overhead costs.
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, turnover monitoring and working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Monitor cash‑flow forecasts, manage banking relationships and optimise liquidity.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance and accounting team while collaborating with cross‑functional departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, CFA) preferred.
• 7–12+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management and ERP systems.
