Financial Analyst - Planning & Performance Management

About the role

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst specializing in Planning & Performance Management to join its team in Saudi Arabia, working on site in Dammam. The role drives financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance measurement to support the company's strategic objectives, working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs linked to financial and operational goals
• Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
• Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with departments to align financial plans and strategies
• Develop and maintain financial models supporting decisions and strategy
• Present performance reports and updates to management and stakeholders
• Use advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and reporting
• Stay up to date on market trends, industry developments and regulatory changes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in financial analysis, planning and performance management, or business systems analysis, preferably in Oil & Gas upstream
• Experience in transformation programs, value capture, KPI development and performance reporting in large organizations
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling
• Microsoft Excel and financial planning software
• Power BI or SAP is a plus
