Financial Controller – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the financial control function for a leading heavy civil and infrastructure contractor in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures accurate reporting, robust cost control, and strong financial governance across multiple projects and business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial close, preparation of management accounts, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning for projects and business units.
• Maintain strong project‑level cost control in partnership with commercial and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, and internal governance frameworks.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial planning and business performance analysis.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of total finance/accounting experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance leadership role.
• Prior experience within a construction or contracting environment is essential.
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven ability to manage project‑based cost control and multi‑entity reporting.
