Financial Director

About the role

The Financial Director will lead the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring stability, compliance and insightful decision‑support for senior management. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, this role combines strategic planning with hands‑on oversight of all fiscal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with long‑term objectives.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and monitor cost variances across departments.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and ensure the organisation meets its financial obligations.
• Oversee the production of accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide comprehensive financial reports and analytical insights to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure full compliance with tax, Zakat and local financial regulations.
• Identify financial risks, implement controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, lenders and investors to secure financing.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate capital investment opportunities.
• Mentor, lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Full fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Proven experience leading finance functions in a corporate environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Expertise with ERP and enterprise‑level accounting software.
• Strong capability in complex financial analysis and corporate taxation.
