Financial Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day financial operations for Reef Group, ensuring accuracy, integrity of records and compliance with policies and IFRS. The role will manage accounting, closing, reporting, and AR/AP while supporting operational efficiency and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recording and processing of all daily financial transactions.
• Review and approve accounting journal entries before financial closing.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Monitor general ledger balances and ensure timely account reconciliations.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.
• Develop and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation.
• Support the annual budgeting process with the FP&A team.
• Monitor financial variances, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise the accounting team, assign responsibilities, and support development.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for senior management.
• Identify operational and financial risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
• Proven experience managing accounting operations and financial closing processes.
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Experience working with ERP and financial management systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and financial management systems.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Understanding of internal controls and accounting processes.
