Financial Planning and Analysis Director

About the role

HALA, a leading fintech in the MENAP region, is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Director to steer its financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management as the company scales and prepares for strategic milestones such as fundraising and IPO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and long‑range financial planning.
• Build and maintain company‑wide financial models covering revenue, cost, cash flow, profitability and valuation scenarios.
• Track performance against budget, forecast and strategic targets; prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership, board and investors.
• Partner with business units to evaluate commercial initiatives, product profitability, pricing and unit economics.
• Support strategic projects including fundraising, IPO preparation, market expansion, M&A and new business lines.
• Analyze revenue trends, margins, CAC, LTV, payback period and other fintech KPIs; drive cost‑control initiatives.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to the CEO, CFO and functional heads, presenting insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing FP&A team, improving processes, systems and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leader with extensive FP&A experience.
• Strong track record of strategic financial analysis, scenario planning and decision support.
• Experience in fintech or fast‑growing technology companies, including fundraising and IPO readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing finance teams.
