Financial Reporting Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Lead to support finance operations for our Saudi Arabia entity, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance and strong governance. The role will oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, treasury, audits and internal controls while partnering with cross‑functional teams on business growth and new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual close for KSA, meeting D+3 timeliness.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements with SOCPA adjustments and supporting schedules.
• Manage ZATCA filings (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF) and SAMA regulatory returns.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain general‑ledger integrity.
• Support provisioning and ECL calculations under IFRS 9 for receivables.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary contact for auditors.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, reconciliations and segregation of duties.
• Assist treasury and settlement reporting, including bank and merchant reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements and ERP (Oracle NetSuite) reporting automation.
• Mentor junior finance team members and partner with Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations for new product launches.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking or Big 4.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or SOCPA) – qualified or in progress.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, written and verbal.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 9, 15, 16 and SOCPA/local GAAP.
• Working knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
