Fire & Safety Officer – Fire Warden (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Warden to join our team in Riyadh and support fire prevention and emergency preparedness across our construction projects. The role involves inspecting assigned areas, controlling fire risks, and leading safe evacuations during alarms or incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect fire points, extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting, escape routes, muster points, signage and emergency vehicle access.
• Identify fire loads, ignition sources, blocked exits, poor housekeeping and unsafe storage of flammable materials.
• Support hot‑work control, ensure fire watches and firefighting equipment are provided where required.
• Maintain current area occupancy information and assist in preparing evacuation plans and warden coverage maps.
• Lead orderly evacuations, sweep assigned zones, guide personnel to muster points and report status to incident command.
• Participate in drills, document performance and follow up corrective actions.
• Provide fire‑awareness briefings and assist with induction and toolbox‑talk programs.

Required profile

• Secondary education or technical diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction, facilities, security or emergency‑response experience.
• Recognized Fire Warden or Fire Marshal certificate with practical extinguisher training; first‑aid training preferred.
• Physically capable of conducting site inspections and emergency duties.
